Career Day
In line with our theme of the month "community helpers"we asked Captain Patrick Palazzolo to join us and share his experiences in being a pilot. He showed the kids how to fly an airplane and even made them a pilot for a day. The kids had so much fun they couldn't help themseleves but tell stories about their chosen career once they become a community helper.
Mooncake Festival
The school introduced the kids to the Mooncake Festival by sharing its ancient history and helping them complete our fun activities.
Mooncake Festival, has been bringing families together through multiple dynasties and for thousands of years. It's a time for family togetherness and yummy mooncakes.
Night of Reading
Students were invited to wear their pajams and were given books from Anvil Publishing for the Night of Reading, and they settled in to listen as A storyteller read story after story. The students also made artworks while waiting for their turn.
